Drug Uses -
Cleocin T is taken in order to treat acne vulgaris.
How Taken -
Use a Cleocin T Topical Solution pledget to apply Cleocin T or apply a thin film of Cleocin T Topical Solution twice a day to treated area.
Warnings/Precautions -
Cleocin T contains clindamycin that may pass into breast milk.
Missed Dose -
You should take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Nevertheless, if it is near to the time for your next dose, do not take an extra tablet to catch up for the dose you forgot. Wait and take your next tablet at the regular time. Do not take a double dose.
Possible Side Effects -
If you take Cleocin T orally or parenterally, you may experience severe colitis which may end fatally. As side effects, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal disturbances and gram-negative folliculitis may also occur.
Storage -
You should not use pledget if the seal is broken. The pledget should be discarded after the first usage. All liquid dosage forms should be stored in tightly closed containers. It must be kept out of the reach of children.
Overdose -
If you suspect overdosage, seek immediate medical attention. Exceed application of Cleocin T may cause systemic effects.
More Information -
Be careful when using Cleocin T together with neuromuscular blocking agents.
