Drug Uses - Penlac is used for the topical treatment of onychomycosis of fingernails and toenails.

How Taken - Before first usage of Penlac you should remove any nail or nail material using nail clippers or nail files. Penlac is applied once a day (preferably at bedtime) to all affected nails with the applicator brush provided. Lacquer should be applied equally over the entire nail. Let lacquer to dry before putting on socks or stockings. It takes approximately 30 seconds. Do not take a bath or shower for 8 hours after the application of Penlac.

Warnings/Precautions - Penlac should be used on nails and immediately adjacent skin. Be careful and avoid contact with eyes and mouth.

Missed Dose - In case you forget to apply Penlac, do it as soon as possible.

Possible Side Effects - Penlac may cause rash-related adverse reactions. Consult with your doctor if you experience increased irritation (redness, itching, burning, blistering, swelling, oozing).

Storage - Penlac must be stored at indoor temperature between 15° and 30° C (59° and 86° F) out of the reach of children.

Overdose - Overdosage is almost impossible. In case an overdose is suspected, seek emergency.

More Information - Penlac is flammable. Do not use it near heat or flame. Do not apply nail polish or other nail cosmetic products on the treated nails.
