Drug Uses - Propecia is administered for the treatment of the male pattern hair loss (baldness). It is not efficient enough for receding hairlines at the temples. Be careful, it is for MEN ONLY and it is not administered for women or children.

How Taken - Propecia is a tablet to be taken once a day with or without food. Follow the prescribed recommendations strictly. Take Propecia as it is prescribed by your doctor. Do not give up taking Propecia even if you feel well without talking to your doctor.

Warnings/Precautions - If have ever had any type of liver disease you may not be able to take Prevacid or you may require a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatment. Consult with your doctor before use Propecia. Propecia is not administered by women. Do not contact or take this medication if you are pregnant or are could become pregnant during treatment. Propecia is in the FDA pregnancy X. It means that Propecia may be detrimental to an unborn baby. If you are pregnant or may become pregnant do not handle crushed or broken Propecia tablets because it could be absorbed through the skin. There is evidence that Propecia may cause defects in a developing male baby. Do not take Propecia if you are breast-feeding a baby because it is not clear whether it passes into breast milk. Be careful, Propecia is not administered by women.

Missed Dose - In case you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But do not take extra dose in situation when you forget to take Propecia and it is near the time for the next intake. Wait and take next dose according to the schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up for a missed one. It is not allowed to take 2 doses at once.

Possible Side Effects - Stop taking Propecia and seek emergency if you have an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives). Do not give up taking Propecia but talk to your doctor if you have: decreased libido (sex drive), decreased volume of ejaculate, impotence (trouble getting or keeping an erection), breast tenderness or enlargement or other bothersome unusual effects not mentioned above.

Storage - Propecia should be kept at indoor temperature between 15 and 30 0C (59 and 86 0F) in a tightly closed container. Avoid humidity. Keep Propecia out of the reach of children.

Overdose - There are no special symptoms of Propecia overdose. In case an overdose is suspected, seek emergency.

More Information - Propecia should be used only by the person it is prescribed for. Do not share it with other people. Avoid using Propecia for treatment of other health conditions that mentioned above. In case of using Propecia for a long time, you should obtain refills before your supply runs out.
