Drug Uses - Seasonale is a drug indicated to prevent pregnancy. Seasonale do not protect from sexually transmitted diseases including HIV (AIDS), chlamydia, genital herpes, genital warts, gonorrhea, hepatitis B, and syphilis.

How Taken - One dose of Seasonale is taken once a day until you have taken the last pill in the tablet dispenser. Try not to skip pills even if you are spotting or bleeding or feel sick to your stomach or if you do not have sex very often.

Warnings/Precautions - In case you are breastfeeding, consult with your doctor before taking Seasonale, as it may pass into breast milk.

Missed Dose - In case you miss pills you could become pregnant. This includes starting the pack late. Do not exceed 24 hour time between pills. You should know that the more pills you miss, the more likely you are to become pregnant.

Possible Side Effects - You may experience high blood pressure while taking Seasonale. Also it can cause a spotty darkening of the skin, particularly of the face, nausea and vomiting, change in appetite, breast tenderness, headache, nervousness, depression, dizziness, loss of scalp hair, rash, vaginal infections, and allergic reactions.

Storage - Seasonale should be stored at controlled indoor temperature 20°-25° C (68°-77° F). It must be kept out of the reach of children.

Overdose - The symptoms of overdosage are nausea and withdrawal bleeding in females. Seek emergency in the case of an overdose.

More Information - Before prescribing Seasonale, your doctor will examine you and take a medical and family history. Reexamination takes place at least once a year.
